Women worldwide can find an identity and a voice through sports when they might otherwise be oppressed. Sports are a way for female athletes to show the world just how powerful women are. Sports allow women to have individuality and identity within societies that might otherwise count them out. Being an athlete means you are pushing yourself physically and mentally every day. The hard work that you put into your sport makes your body stronger, but it builds your confidence. If you can do what it takes to succeed in your sport, you can do what it takes to succeed in life.

There’s some evidence that body awareness can be a beneficial tool for weight management. Body awareness has several benefits that range from physical to emotional health.

It also involves setting goals and discussing realistic ways to achieve them, as well as timelines for success. We’ve compiled a few activities that might help parents and teachers teach children in grades K-5 about neuroplasticity. Perhaps it was a musical instrument, a new language, how to ride a bike, a new job, how to change a diaper, or how to teach a particular lesson.

The fourth and final step is to remind yourself of your new beliefs every day. This is not superfluous because what I am doing is reminding myself of what is true and empowering. The more you practice this, the sooner your subconscious mind will start inducing corresponding empowering thoughts, feelings and actions.
